Blame One - Days Chasing Days (Raw + Unreleased) Cassette
Originally released in 2009 in digital format and on CD only through Soulspazm, Days Chasing Days represents another important chapter in Blame One’s life. A point where the raw energy of his earlier work meets a more mature, reflective side of his writing.
Recorded during the years leading up to the album, these songs move through graffiti culture, braggadocious MCing, consciousness, spirituality, self-reflection and fatherhood. It’s a broad and deeply personal snapshot of where Blame One was at the time. The original album was formed with lots of help from Blame’s good friend Exile, who also executive produced and presented Days Chasing Days 17,5 years ago.
This reissue has been expanded into a 24-track, 80+ minute edition, adding 10 bonus tracks. Nine of those tracks come from Blame One’s 2008 solely online available mixtape Raw + Unreleased, while the curtain closer is the song “Drifting”, another Exile produced piece from Blame One’s earlier catalog. The cassette tape even includes two extra bonus tracks.
