About Hip-Hop Enterprise
Hip-Hop Enterprise is an independent Belgian label and online store dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and reintroducing the essence of 90s hip-hop culture.
Founded by Michel, a passionate collector and lifelong fan of the genre, who likes to focus on releasing rare, classic, and previously unreleased material with the respect, care, and quality it deserves. We work closely with original artists, producers, and rights holders to bring forgotten gems back to life — often for the first time on vinyl or CD.
Our mission is simple: to keep the legacy of authentic hip-hop alive for collectors, DJs, and fans around the world.
Our labels:
Hip-Hop Enterprise
Our main imprint, primarily dedicated to unearthing rare and unreleased 90s hip-hop from across the U.S. with a classic Boom Bap sound. We focus on authenticity, archival quality, and limited editions.
SouthWest Enterprise
A sister label specializing in Southern as well as West Coast releases from the 90's. We handle reissues as well as unearthing unreleased material. A label with a wide array of sounds, from sunny synths and funk-infused basslines to Southern bounce to the classic 90's Memphis sound.
Beyond Our Labels
In addition to our own imprints, we also distribute carefully selected releases from other independent hip-hop labels that share the same passion and respect for the golden era of the genre. We focus primarily on 90's underground hip-hop from all regional scenes (East Coast, West Coast, South, Midwest) up to Canada. We only offer what peaks our interest, anything from demos, shelved projects & unreleased studio sessions up to reissues and classics mostly in limited fashion.
