Al Kapone - Da Resurrection LP

After years of clamoring from fans, one of the
most celebrated albums of Memphis rap's golden
era is finally on vinyl. Released during a pivotal period in the
development of the Memphis sound, Da Resurrection helped establish Al Kapone as one of the city's most distinctive voices.

The album's unique fusion of Memphis horrorcore's dark,
cinematic atmosphere with the smooth, funkdriven influence of West Coast G-Funk created a sound that remains instantly recognizable more than three decades later.

Long before gaining national attention through "Whoop That Trick" from the Academy Award winning Hustle & Flow soundtrack, Al Kapone built a devoted following throughout the South. Today,
the album is widely regarded as an underground classic and an essential chapter in Memphis rap history.
