Foesum - The Foefathers 2xLP
Hailing from Long Beach, California, Foesum are a legendary hip-hop crew rooted in the golden era of West Coast rap. Following their classic debut Perfection (1996), the group returned in 2002 with their long-awaited second album The Foefathers—now finally issued on vinyl for the first time ever worldwide by P-VINE, presented as a deluxe 2LP edition with a Japanese obi strip.
Widely regarded as a release that lives up to—and even rivals—their debut, the album is primarily produced by group member DJ Glaze. It delivers a full spectrum of quintessential West Coast sounds, including the funky “Ain’t A Damn Thing Changed” featuring Bo Roc (of Dove Shack), and the smooth, laid-back “Hello” with fellow Long Beach rapper E-White.
The album also features appearances from West Coast affiliates such as Twinz (Tripp Loc & Wayniac) and KAM, alongside a special contribution from Japan’s Kayzabro (DS455), making this a cross-generational and international G-funk essential.
