Neek The Exotic – Exotic's Raw CD

Neek The Exotic grew up with Large Professor & started rhyming at a young age with childhood friends such as Nas, Royal Flush and Mr. Cheeks of The Lost Boyz. When Large Professor’s group Main Source were involved in the soundtrack for White Men Can’t Jump, Neek joined them and appeared on the classic song “Fakin’ The Funk” (but he was incarcerated when it came out).

Since then, as a duo Neek and Large Pro have collaborated with Pete Rock, Busta Rhymes, The X-Ecutioners, Mobb Deep, Masta Ace and more. They have also released several collaboration EPs & 2 full length albums that were critically acclaimed.

As a solo artist Neek has performed with MC Shan, Royal Flush, Bumpy Knuckles, O.C., Sadat X, Craig G, Mr. Cheeks, Q-Tip, Meyhem Lauren among others. He has been dropping projects since 1997, including the underground classic "Exotic's Raw". 

His first solo album, named after his classic "Exotic's Raw" didn't drop until 2003. This album compiled many of his bangers that he had been recording independently since 1997. Now in 2025 HHE is proud to announce a limited CD reissue of that classic album. We secured the DAT tapes and reels some years ago from Neek and now it's finally time to bring this superb project back to life. As a bonus you will get 2 previously unreleased tracks and 2 bonus instrumentals. 

The CD edition will be limited to only 250 copies, and comes with a 4pp booklet that includes pictures from back in the days. The artwork has been revamped and reworked and all copies come with a hype sticker. Much respect to @simonoetanglxd and @__the__p1 for reworking the artwork and giving this reissue a proper treatment. Another major shoutout to @jeevancleefmastering for doing his thing as well.
