King Tone - Victims of da Streets 7" (Produced By Aftamaf)

King Tone aka Alamo (born Wilfredo Nunez) is a hip hop musician, born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island. Inspired by the golden age of hip hop, Tone gained an interest in music at a time when groups like N.W.A, Public Enemy and EPMD were pushing boundaries.

By 1991, when Tone had already written and recorded numerous projects independently, he was introduced to "Lenny Grace" aka "AFTAMAF" another local MC/Producer from the Providence Area which was the beginning of a lifelong friendship. Aftamaf's ability to create music using everything from live instruments, to the SP-12 and MPC paired with King Tone's "paint you a picture you can listen to" kind of flow proved to be the perfect combination. They were able to create classics like "Rhyme and Punishment" and "Victims of da Streets" in 1997 along with countless other hip-hop gems that remain unreleased. Around that time "MAF" went on to become one of the founding members of Blank Fasiz and D.U.N.A.T Productions while Tone continued to pursue his career as a solo artist, and eventually teamed up with his longtime partner "Feliciano Escobar".

They then created the group "Point Blank" which later changed its name to "100proof". Over the years King Tone has continued to create music and record/engineer other artists in his Rhode Island
located studio. He has shared the stage with industry artists such as 50 Cent, Rakim and Talib Kweli to name a few. King Tone has also been featured on tracks with artists such as Queens
legend Tragedy Khadafi, Red Cafe and the late great Sean Price.

King tone and his 100proof regime, do not plan on stopping any time soon, and will continue to adapt to the times, while staying true to their hip-hop roots. You can stay up to date with King
tone's new music, new music videos, social media and upcoming events at

Rest in peace... AFTAMAF
